Ashgabat FC "Altyn Asyr" won the FFT Cup

Soccer club from Ashgabat "Altyn Asyr" was awarded the Cup of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan following the results of the tournament held in the capital. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Six Turkmen soccer teams competed for the Cup. Before the last round, only two of the six teams claimed the honorary title of the winner - Altyn Asyr and Merv, which was two points behind at that time.

With a score of 1:0 in the match, which was held at the stadium "Sport Toplumy", "Altyn Asyr" defeated the opponent. The decisive and only goal for the game was scored by Didar Didarov.

FC Altyn Asyr won the Cup of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan for the first time. The second place was taken by "Merv", the third place was taken by "Shagadam".
The reigning champion of Turkmenistan "Akhal" finished the tournament in the fourth position. The fifth place was taken by FC Ashgabat.
