Senior lecturer of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, candidate of political sciences Ruslan Jumaev told about Turkmenistan's foreign policy in the field of transportation. This is reported by the online publication "Vestiabad".
The geopolitical position of Turkmenistan determines an "open door" policy aimed at strengthening the country's authority, increasing its capacity and developing effective international and regional partnership in the field of transport.
The Caspian Sea is of broad interest to the international community in the context of hydrocarbon reserves and the intersection of North-South and East-West routes. Turkmenistan, the only landlocked country in the CA region, provides nearby countries with access to Caspian ports.
Thus, the expert emphasized that Turkmenistan includes the most important energy and communication hubs, transport routes and transit corridors.
