UNICEF has handed over another shipment of personal protective equipment (PPE) to Turkmenistan to support infection prevention and control. The organization announced this on its Instagram page today.
A shipment of PPE totaling more than $170 thousand was shipped from a warehouse in Copenhagen, Denmark, the report said.
For the past decades, the United Nations Children's Fund has been actively assisting the government of Turkmenistan by bringing critical medicines, vaccines, and equipment and hygiene products to protect Turkmen children and families.
In April of this year, the United Nations Children's Fund delivered vaccines for routine immunization of children infected with poliovirus, measles, mumps, rubella, and Mycobacterium tuberculosis and diphtheria.
