President of Turkmenistan discusses cooperation with the President of Uzbekistan

The heads of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan held a telephone conversation on bilateral cooperation issues on April 15. This is reported on the official website of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

First of all, Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed sincere condolences on the bereavement - the death of Serdar Berdimuhamedov's grandmother and mother of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

During the conversation, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in accordance with the agreements reached at the highest level in the transport, cultural, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. The heads of state also discussed the schedule of upcoming joint events.

Special attention was paid to the establishment of Shavat-Dashoguz border trade zone during the bilateral conversation.
