Today, April 13, 2021, the deputy foreign ministers of China and the Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, met online. The key objective of the conference was to discuss preparations for the Second CA-China Ministerial Meeting to be held this year. Turkmenistan was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Berdyniyaz Myatiev.
Deputy Foreign Minister of China Le Yucheng thanked his colleagues for their participation and positively characterized this line of cooperation. Deputy Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan presented their own vision and options for expanding cooperation between the states of the Central Asian region and the PRC. Diplomats considered the main vectors of political, diplomatic, economic, trade, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
During the talks, special attention was paid to the topic of the forthcoming meeting of the Foreign Ministers: the diplomats made proposals on the provisional agenda and reviewed the drafts of the final documents.
