"USAID Energy CA. - is the name of a new USAID program that was launched on February 25 in cooperation with Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy.
Under the program, Central Asian countries (Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan) will receive support in developing the energy sector, including enhancing cross-border trade and improving energy security through regional integration. The main goals of the program are to unlock the potential of local specialists and promote the development of market relations.
The budget for the 5-year project is $39 million.
