The vice-speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation K. Kosachev during his working visit to the Turkmen capital offered Turkmenistan to become a member of the program "Russian teacher abroad. This was reported by Orient news with reference to the news agency TASS.
The essence of this program is to send Russian-speaking teachers to foreign countries to teach in metropolitan and regional schools. This humanitarian program is in demand in many countries around the world. Both Russian language teachers and teachers of mathematics and physics who teach in Russian are sent abroad.
Kosachev noted that the humanitarian ties between Turkmenistan and Russia have great potential for development, as evidenced by the agreements reached. The project of the Turkmen-Russian University is already in the implementation stage. At the moment, the responsible specialists from Turkmenistan have already chosen a land plot for the construction of the future joint institution.
