Turkmenistan opens border crossings for foreign trucks

Starting November 7, 2022 drivers of trucks are allowed to transport goods on the territory of Turkmenistan if the necessary requirements are met. This is reported on the website of the Turkmenavtovulaglary (Turkmenavtotransport) agency.
Entry, exit and transit will be possible through the following border crossings:
– Международный морской порт Туркменбаши;
– «Артык» (граница с Ираном);
– «Сарахс» (граница с Ираном);
– «Карабогаз» (граница с Казахстаном);
– «Алтын Асыр» (граница с Ираном);
– «Дашогуз» (граница с Узбекистаном);
– «Конеургенч» (граница с Узбекистаном);
– «Фарап» (граница с Узбекистаном);
– «Имамназар» (граница с Афганистаном);
– «Серхетабат» (граница с Афганистаном).
It is specified that drivers of trucks must present at the border the results of PCR test for COVID-19, obtained at least 72 hours before crossing the state border, or a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus (not later than 42 days after the last vaccination).
