Turkmenistan opens border crossings for foreign trucks

Starting November 7, 2022 drivers of trucks are allowed to transport goods on the territory of Turkmenistan if the necessary requirements are met. This is reported on the website of the Turkmenavtovulaglary (Turkmenavtotransport) agency.
Entry, exit and transit will be possible through the following border crossings:
- Turkmenbashi International Sea Port;
- "Artik" (border with Iran);
- "Sarakhs" (border with Iran);
- "Karabogaz" (border with Kazakhstan);
- "Altyn Asyr" (border with Iran);
- "Dashoguz" (border with Uzbekistan);
- "Koneurgench" (border with Uzbekistan);
- "Farap" (border with Uzbekistan);
- "Imamnazar" (border with Afghanistan);
- "Serhetabat" (border with Afghanistan).
It is specified that drivers of trucks must present at the border the results of PCR test for COVID-19, obtained at least 72 hours before crossing the state border, or a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus (not later than 42 days after the last vaccination).
