In Afghanistan (Aqina village, Faryab province), a celebration was held to mark the opening of a new mosque on 500 peopleThe event was attended by the Turkmen delegation. This is a milestone event in Turkmen-Afghan relations because Funds for the mosque were provided by Turkmenistan.
The construction of the complex started in 2018 after the signing of the contract by the Turkmen side with the Afghan company. Modern technologies were used in the construction, and the following were implemented unusual architectural and interior solutions. There are rooms for sadaqa and rituals, and parking is provided.
To mark the opening of the mosque, Turkmenistan sent to the Afghan provinces of Jowzjan, Herat, and Faryab humanitarian cargo with medicines and household goods produced in Turkmenistan.
Representatives of the authorities of Afghanistan present at the celebration, as well as numerous residents of the Afghan province of Faryab expressed gratitude to the Head of Turkmenistan and all Turkmen people for their fraternal support, contributing to the revival of the country.
