Turkmen farmers successfully fulfill vegetable harvest plans

Farmers of Lebap velayat have shown high results in vegetable production, having successfully fulfilled the state plan. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

To date, more than 22 thousand tons of onions and more than 13 thousand tons of tomatoes, more than a thousand tons of cucumbers, more than 42 thousand tons of gourds have already been harvested. Now the velayat agrarians face new tasks - cotton harvesting, sowing of winter wheat, harvesting and care of melons and vegetables.

Agrarians of velayat have harvested about 240 tons of beans by now, preparations are underway to harvest mung bean. It is planned to harvest more than 4.5 thousand tons of mung bean from more than three thousand hectares of land. Farmers of Danev and Kerki etraps of Lebap velayat have already fulfilled their obligations to the state on bean and mung bean production, and those of Sayat etrap - on bean production.
