Turkmenistan will abolish the wearing of masks and resume flights abroad

As of June 1, the country plans to slightly relax measures to prevent the infection of the population with coronavirus. The initiative to relax anti-covirus restrictions came from subject matter experts and representatives of the Emergency Commission for Disease Control.

As S. Toilyev said at the Cabinet of Ministers meeting. Toilyev said that the wearing of masks will be abolished on the street, while indoors and on public transport, citizens of Turkmenistan and guests of the country will have to continue to use personal protective equipment.

The country also plans to re-launch flights to some foreign countries whose citizens have been successfully vaccinated and have acquired immunity against COVID-19. Such countries include the UAE and Germany - planes will fly from Ashgabat to these destinations on a weekly basis.
