Participants of the V Central Asian expert forum held on December 10 were leading specialists of five Central Asian countries on strategic researches. The forum was timed to coincide with the 27th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality and the World Neutrality Day.
The main theme of the forum was the discussion of the pressing problems of the Central Asian region in the context of current threats and challenges of the time, which are dependent on the geopolitical and economic situation in the world.
The experts focused on the aspects of regional partnership of CA countries on global climate change. They touched upon water resources management, water cooperation of the countries in the Aral Sea basin, information and communication security and food security.
The forum was hosted by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
