Avaza, August 7 - Arzuw.news. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Prime Minister of Nepal Sharma Oli, who arrived in the country to participate in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen leader expressed gratitude to his Nepali counterpart for accepting the invitation to participate in the international forum aimed at solving the problems of landlocked states. The Prime Minister of Nepal, in turn, emphasized the importance of the conference for establishing effective cooperation and noted that the decisions made would make a significant contribution to the economic development of the participating countries.
President Berdimuhamedov reaffirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to develop friendly and mutually beneficial relations with Asian states, including Nepal. The sides discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation in various spheres.
The participants of the meeting noted the significant potential for cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, agriculture, healthcare, education and scientific research. Special attention was paid to the importance of developing cultural ties and cooperation in the field of art between the peoples of the two countries.
The meeting ended with mutual wishes for health, prosperity and success in state activities.
