The Interior Ministry's Galkan hockey club, led by Bairam Allayarov, has become Turkmenistan's seventh consecutive ice hockey champion, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported. The tournament was organized by the Turkmen Hockey Federation with the assistance of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy.
The seventh championship began last fall and was held in two rounds. A total of seven teams took part in the championship. If everything is clear with the national champion, the organizers had to work a little harder to determine the winners.
