The main goal of of this international volunteer project is the development of technology in the local community.
According to the GDG Ashgabat initiators, volunteers gather together to participate in seminars, view conferences, hold so-called hackathons, exchange experiences, as well as discuss events and other issues related to the use of the latest technologies in the world of the Internet.
Women Techmakers (WTM) is a Google brand and global program for women in technology. The main goal is to inspire women not to be afraid to to choose technical science, to motivate and unite.
WTMs are launching global initiatives, making grants for women, and testing new programs to support and empower women in the field.
Women Techmakers Ashgabat is planning to hold a seminar on March 21. As part of the GDG program, this is one of the big events among all the others, lasting one day, which takes place between March and April in all the countries where this project is active.
In the first half of the program the participants of the seminar are prepared with motivating speeches of the brightest representatives of this sphere. The second half is devoted to numerous master classes, training methods, and various useful tips.
