Kazakhstan provides humanitarian aid to neighbors

By order of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, last week it was decided to provide humanitarian support to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the form of providing 5,000 tons of Kazakh flour to each country, totaling more than $3 million. This was reported by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ashgabat. The humanitarian aid will soon arrive at its destinations in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

Today, in the context of the global pandemic COVID-19, many countries are helping each other in various ways to expand their capacity to address this contemporary problem, and Kazakhstan is also actively involved.

The head of Tajikistan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan thanked the Kazakhstani leadership for its decision to provide humanitarian aid.
