Kickboxing in Turkmenistan reaches a new level

The Kickboxing Federation of Turkmenistan earlier this year decided to establish velayat kickboxing federations. "This innovation is aimed at more qualitative and professional development of the national kickboxing school," the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.

From now on, regional federations can act locally regardless of the parent sports organization, and it is from them that the indicator of the sports level in velayats will now depend. Thanks to the work of local representations, two new sections where young fighters are engaged have been opened in the last couple of months.

The innovation will also affect the venues of the competitions - modern sports complexes of all regions will be involved.
For example, at present, the sports school of Geoktepe etrap, Akhal velayat, is hosting the Turkmenistan Kickboxing Championship, which attracted more than 100 masters among men and women.
