Today Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Turkmen leader Serdar Berdymukhamedov on his birthday. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin.
During the conversation, the Russian leader noted the mutual desire to strengthen all-round relations and strategic partnership between his country and Turkmenistan.
Earlier, the Russian president sent a congratulatory telegram to the president of Turkmenistan, in which he wished Serdar Berdymukhamedov good health, happiness and success.
According to Putin, the Declaration on deepening strategic partnership, signed in June between Russia and Turkmenistan, undoubtedly creates conditions for a qualitative increase in mutually beneficial bilateral relations in various ways.
"I will be glad to continue the dialogue with you and work closely together for the good of our friendly peoples and in the interests of strengthening peace, security and stability in Central Asia and the Caspian region," concluded the Russian head of state.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov turned 41 today.
