Ambassador of Turkmenistan and the President of Pakistan meet

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov met with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari at the Presidential Palace "Aiwan-e-Sadr" on April 1. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The Ambassador conveyed congratulations from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of President Asif Ali Zardari's re-assumption of office.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest. It was noted that interstate ties are based on mutual respect, equality and mutually beneficial partnership.

The President of Pakistan emphasized that the country attaches great importance to fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan.
