The participating parties analyzed EU-Central Asia interaction, partnership prospects, regional and international issues.
Head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan voiced by the country's priorities on major regional and international issuesThe President, reiterating the President's previously stated position on the need to achieve stability and security exclusively through the use of peaceful political and diplomatic instruments. The importance of Turkmenistan's initiatives on the practical implementation of the principles of neutrality as a tool for the resolution of international issues and conflicts was noted.
Rashid Meredov emphasized the need to solve of global crises political, economic, humanitarian, natural and man-made by all means. Turkmenistan's efforts in addressing humanitarian and social crisis issues through participation in the creation of the Central Emergency Response Fund under the auspices of the UN General Assembly. In addition, Turkmenistan is expanding its interaction with UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
Turkmenistan also calls on the participants of the dialogue to pay close attention to the problem of climate change and to make maximum efforts to comply with the paragraphs of the Paris Agreement. It was reported that our state is committed to zero greenhouse gas emissions, developing a renewable energy strategy, implementing a national tree planting campaign - for 20 years, planted more than 90 million seedlings, 25 million of them - in 2020.
