Yesterday a meeting was held by the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine E. Enin. Yenin with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan T. Atayev. The main focus of the meeting was on trade relations between the countries.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs noted the need to hold Ukrainian-Turkmen negotiations at various levels of government, including between representatives of foreign ministries, to develop political and trade-economic cooperation. In order to intensify business cooperation the diplomats also discussed the organization of a joint forum.
Е. Yenin stressed Ukraine's interest in the implementation of Turkmenistan's projects. He also expressed confidence that in the current difficult economic conditions due to the pandemic it is necessary to pay special attention to support of export and trade turnover. For his part, the deputy foreign minister of Ukraine promised to help expand business cooperation with Turkmen partners.
During the meeting, the parties also touched on cooperation in the format of international organizations and cultural and educational sphere.
