Participants in the representative human rights forum held in the capital of Turkmenistan gathered not only representatives of law enforcement and legal departments, but also officials entrusted with monitoring the fairness of the activities of executive authorities and officials.
On the EU side, the meeting was attended by employees of the Department of External Relations, the ambassador and heads of diplomatic missions of those countries that are accredited in Turkmenistan.
Aspects of deepening cooperation between the European Community and the Turkmen Republic were discussed during the meeting. The participants paid much attention to discussing the situation in the judicial and legislative spheres, expanding the framework of mutual cooperation in health care and education. A separate topic was the discussion of human rights and protection of children's interests.
It was decided to regularly summarize the issues of real respect for human rights, to exchange the experience accumulated in the EU countries to protect the interests of citizens through joint forums and international meetings.
