Turkmenbashi "Shagadam" continues to prepare for the start of the new season. The seaside team played a friendly match against Belarusian club Torpedo BelAZ as part of the training camp in Turkey.
Ilya Kukharchik, midfielder of the Belarusian team, opened the scoring on 35 minutes. Torpedovs managed to strengthen the advantage thanks to a goal by Dmitri Yusov on the 65th minute. The players of "Shagadam" didn't leave without a goal. Toward the end of the meeting our players scored one goal. The final score - 2 : 1 in favor of the representative of the Higher Division of the Belarusian Football Championship.
"Torpedo BelAZ", founded in 1961, is a professional Belarusian club from the city of Zhodino. The club finished the previous season in sixth place.
It should be recalled that earlier Shagadam had already managed to play a couple of matches within the UTS. First, the team from Turkmenbashi played a 1 : 1 draw with Georgian Lokomotiv, and then suffered a major 5 : 0 defeat at the hands of another club from the Belarusian Championship, Shakhtar.
