From July 1, the State Concerns Turkmennebit and Turkmengaz will start issuing licenses to foreign investors for processing hydrocarbon resources. The relevant changes and amendments regulating the right of oil and gas structures to issue permits were recently introduced by the President of Turkmenistan into the Law of Turkmenistan "On Hydrocarbon Resources".
The license will be available to companies that are ready to refine oil and gas on the territory of Turkmenistan at their own expense. Permission for refining is issued for a period of 20 years with the right to extend for another 10 years.
