The World Federation of Tourist Cities welcomed the capital of Turkmenistan to its ranks on May 1.
Федерация была основана в 2012 г. городами и мировыми организациями, работающими в сфере туризма. В том числе, в нее входят авиакомпании и туроператоры, поэтому вступление в WTCF способствует росту потоку туристов. Это первое международное сообщество, которое сформировано на основе туристических городов. На данный момент WTCF, главный офис которой находится в Пекине, занимает значимую позицию в качестве всемирной туристической организации. Языки, принятые в Федерации, – китайский и английский.
The WTCF strives to provide new opportunities for participants through the development of tourist potential. The slogan of the organization is: "A better city life through tourism. Its activities are aimed at assistance, exchange and partnership between the cities included in the community. The Federation promotes the transfer of experience from the cities that have achieved a high level of tourism, provides assistance in the introduction of products and services in this area. Thus, one of the main goals of the WTF is achieved - the development and prosperity of world tourism.
