On November 14, Mammetkhan Chakyev, Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, delivered a solemn speech at the opening of the XVII International Exhibition and Scientific Conference Turkmentel - 2024. In his speech, M. Chakyev noted that due to the thoughtful policy of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the country pays great attention to the modernization of the information transport network, which ensures the possibility of active integration into the world community.
It was emphasized that within the framework of the concept of development of the digital economy, work is underway to introduce digital technologies, which is an important step towards the creation of an "e-government" system. One of the examples of successfully implemented projects in Turkmenistan can be considered a modern "smart" city Arkadag, which effectively combines digital and "green" technologies.
