The number of Internet banking users is growing in Turkmenistan

Trend new agency website presents ranking of banks of Turkmenistan by the number of Internet banking users. The data are provided by the Central Bank of the country and are current as of April 1, 2023. The highest line is occupied by the state commercial bank "Dayhanbank", the number of registered Internet banking clients of which amounted to 356,626 people.

The second line of the rating by the number of Internet banking users is occupied by Bank "Turkmenistan" with the indicator of 311,152 people, and the third line is occupied by Bank "Turkmenbashi", the number of Internet users of which reached 168,837 people.

The rating of user regions is presented on the agency's website. The largest number of clients falls on Mary province, Lebap and Dashoguz regions.

The financial sector of Turkmenistan is expanding by introducing Internet banking services, mobile applications convenient for remote payment of goods and services. Also, users often use payment terminals.
