Japanese company "Yokogawa Turkey" has received an order to supply field instruments and control system for Zerger gas power plant with capacity of 400 MW, which is located in Lebap province. This was announced on March 25 by Yokogawa Electric Corporation, which is the parent company of Yokogawa Turkey.
The construction of the Zerger power plant by order of the State Electric Power Corporation "Turkmenenergo" is being carried out by the Turkish company "Renaissance Heavy Industries", which ordered the delivery of this equipment.
The CENTUM VP integrated production control system and differential pressure and temperature sensors are designed to monitor and control three gas turbines as well as auxiliary power plant facilities.
"Yokogawa Turkey will also perform engineering and service work for the installation of the new system, which will be operational by September this year.
The project's Zerger power plant will have three gas turbines with a total capacity of about 400 MW and will generate electricity using natural gas.
