The Japanese company "Yokogawa Turkey" has received an order for the supply of field devices and control system for the gas power plant Zerger with capacity of 400 MW, which is located in Lebap velayat. The company "Yokogawa Electric Corporation", which is the parent enterprise of "Yokogawa Turkey", informed about it on 25 March.
The construction of the Zerger power plant by order of the State Electricity Corporation "Turkmenenergo" is being carried out by the Turkish company "Renaissance Heavy Industries," which made the order to supply this equipment.
The CENTUM VP integrated production control system and differential pressure and temperature sensors are designed to monitor and control three gas turbines as well as auxiliary power plant facilities.
"Yokogawa Turkey will also provide engineering and service for the installation of the new system, which will be operational by September of this year.
The Zerger power plant will have three gas turbines with a total capacity of about 400 MW and will generate electricity using natural gas.
