During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov announced that the company is ready to act as an operator in the project for the development of the Dostluk Caspian field of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. V. Alekperov noted that consultations are being held now on the implementation of Dostluk and Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan are developing intergovernmental agreements. The management of LUKOIL has expressed a desire for the company to become the operator of the project, but it is not yet ready to name a specific share in the implementation.
