The President of Turkmenistan held a meeting on the development of agro-industrial complex of the country

On August 28, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev, who is in charge of agro-industrial complex, and khakims of velayats on the development of the agricultural sector of the country. This was reported by the online edition of "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Khakim of Ahal province R. Khojagulyev reported on the preparation for the harvesting season of cotton ginning enterprises, reception centers, combines. He also reported on preparations for the upcoming sowing of wheat, care of winter potatoes and other crops.

Mr. Kh. Ashirmiradov reported on plowing and planning of lands for sowing wheat and preparation of agricultural machinery. He reported on the progress of preparation for cotton harvesting, measures to care for winter potatoes and vegetable and melon crops.

Reports on agricultural works were presented by the khakims of Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary provinces, as well as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev.
