The volume of trade transactions between Turkmenistan and Russia for seven months of this year increased by 58% compared to the same period last year. Such data were announced by Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk during the meeting of the co-chairmen of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation on October 30. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation noted that the development of the draft program of economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation for 2025-2027 is currently at the final stage of coordination.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. It was noted that the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission will be held in early 2025.
