Construction of a shopping center will start in July on the border of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan

Construction of a large Trade Center is planned to start in July this year in Dashoguz province in the border zone of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The facility is scheduled for commissioning in July 2025. The decree on the start of construction was signed by the President of Turkmenistan on July 20 during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

The new shopping center will be part of the Dashoguz-Khorezm border trade zone. The creation of the border trade zone was launched on October 21, 2022 as part of the opening of the Tashkent Park.
The trade zone in the area of "Shavat-Dashoguz" border crossing point will include a complex of structures - trade pavilions, warehouses, container sites and places of work for entrepreneurs.
