A cottage complex will be built in the coastal zone of the Golden Lake of the capital of Turkmenistan. Construction work by domestic construction companies will be carried out within the framework of the 17th stage of development of the main city of the country. All in all, 268 two-storey buildings with the total capacity of up to 1000 people can be built along the shoreline of Gurtly Gold Lake.
The location of the modern cottage complex is the northeastern part of the coast of the reservoir. The buildings will be built between the autobahn and the shoreline. The geometric center of the new complex will be a park area, which will also be equipped with parking lots and an amphitheater.
Completion of construction work is scheduled for 2024.
The total area of the territory allocated for the recreation zone was about 300 hectares. The designer is the State Association "Turkmengosproekt", whose architects have divided the above mentioned territory into 13 sectors. Of these, 10 will be built up with two-storey cottages in the high-tech style. In accordance with the orders of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, 4 types of cottages will be built in each of the sectors where two or more families will be able to have a rest.
During the 17th stage of development of Ashgabat it is also planned to build an office building, medical and shopping and service centers. Special areas will become the place for cultural events. The projects also stipulates construction of two parking lots for 500 cars, a police station and a fire station. At the entrances to each cottage village will also be equipped with parking lots.
The Golden Lake, formerly the Gurtly Lake, has long been one of the favorite recreation places for residents of the capital of Turkmenistan. The opening of the first complex of facilities for comfortable leisure developed on the shore of this reservoir took place in a solemn atmosphere on June 15 of last year.
