Workers of garment and footwear production in Turkmenistan increased production volumes

The garment and footwear production in Balkan velayat produced products worth more than 5 million Turkmen manats in the first quarter of this year. Garment and knitwear products amounted to 2 million TMT and footwear products amounted to 3 million TMT. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

About 140 employees are involved in the sewing shop, about 90 employees are engaged in shoe production. The growth rate of production of goods in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year increased and amounted to 135%.

The enterprise mainly works on orders. The high quality of the manufactured goods, as well as their environmental friendliness allow increasing the demand for the products on the domestic market.
