Türkiye will develop a road map for delivering Turkmen gas to Europe

In the near future a "Roadmap" for the transportation of natural gas from Turkmenistan to Europe will be developed. This was reported by Turkish media, citing the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye Fatih Donmez.

"I hope that a roadmap will be prepared in the near future. A working group has been set up to work on this issue, the work will be accelerated," the Turkish minister said.

Last Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he instructed the Ministry of Energy to resolve the issue of Turkmen natural gas supplies to Europe within a month. According to him, this issue will be finally solved during the visit of Turkmenistan's president to Türkiye in January.

The issue of Turkmen gas exports was discussed at the meeting of the heads of the three countries on December 14 in Turkmenbashi.
