Turkmenistan discussed priorities at the 80th session of the UNGA

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held talks with Special Representative of the UN Secretary General Kakha Imnadze, who heads the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was held on September 10 to discuss cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNRCCA in the context of the upcoming 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

Turkmenistan's priority positions at the jubilee session of the General Assembly took center stage in the talks. The participants of the meeting noted the high degree of compliance of Turkmen priorities with the mandate of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy.

Following the talks, the Turkmen side confirmed its readiness to actively cooperate with the UNRCCA to implement the identified priorities within the framework of the international platform.
