According to the results of the draw, the opponents of the Turkmen national team in the qualifying tournament of the Asian Cup-2024 on futsal have been determined. They will be the national teams of Thailand, Hong Kong and China. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
31 teams participated in the draw: the national teams were divided into 8 groups. The matches will take place in Thailand, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Bahrain, Uzbekistan and Taiwan.
The Turkmen national team got into Group A. The matches of the qualifying tournament will be held in Thailand from October 7 to 11 this year. On October 7, the team from Hong Kong will play against the team from Hong Kong, on October 9 - the team from China and on October 11 the game against the national team of Thailand will be held.
The winners of the groups, the seven best second-placed teams and the host team of the tournament will qualify for the finals. The top five teams of the final tournament of the Asian Futsal Cup will have the right to participate in the World Cup 2024.
