Turkmen national team starts to fight for a ticket to the Asian Cup

The Turkmenistan U17 women's national team traveled to Thailand to participate in the qualifying stage of the Asian Cup. The tournament will be held in Chonburi from October 13 to 17, 2025. About it reports MIC.

In Group "F" the Turkmen team will have to fight for the final with the national teams of Thailand and Nepal. All games of the group will be held in a centralized format. Only the winners of each of the eight groups will have the right to play in the final round. They will be joined by already qualified teams from DPR Korea, Japan, South Korea and China to make up the final list of 12 participants in the final tournament.

Under the guidance of head coach Boris Borovik and his assistants - Begench Garayev, Khalida Eshniyazova and Maria Chariyeva - the team of 19 players held an intensive preparatory training camp in Ashgabat.

According to the calendar, the Turkmen national team will play Thailand on October 13, and on October 15 will meet with the Nepalese team.
