Turkmen athletes win 11 medals at WKF karate tournament

The 8th Central Asian WKF Karate Championship ended in Bishkek, where Turkmen athletes won two gold, one silver and eight bronze medals. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The tournament was attended by 255 athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. Medals were awarded in two disciplines - kata and kumite, in three age categories - 14-15 years, 16-17 years and from 18 years and older. Turkmenistan was represented by 24 athletes.

The gold medal winners were I. Annaorazov and G. Gurbannazarov. Silver medal was won by A. Seyitgulyev. Bronze medals were awarded to P. Atamyradov, D. Babaev, E. Taganov, R. Ataev, D. Orazdurdyev, Y. Garadzhayev, D. Nazmyradov, Sh. Khudaiberdyev.
