M. Byashimova met with representatives of UN-HABITAT in Ashgabat

On Friday, September 8, 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with representatives of the UN Human Settlements Program (UN-HABITAT) Herman Pienaar and Katja Schaefer, who are in Ashgabat on a working visit. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the conversation the topics related to the current state of cooperation of the UN-HABITAT Program with Turkmenistan were touched upon. The interlocutors also discussed the most promising directions of further partnership. The meeting resulted in reaching agreements on joint development of the Roadmap for the planned cooperation.

Also during the conversation the sides paid attention to the opening of UN-HABITAT office in Ashgabat.
