The 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality was celebrated in Astrakhan

On September 1, the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan hosted a conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by the staff of the diplomatic mission, the head of the Astrakhan Regional Public Organization for Preservation and Development of Turkmen Culture, Russian students, teachers and pupils of the MCOE "School named after Makhtumkuli Fraghi" in the village of Funtovo, Astrakhan Oblast.

Consul of Turkmenistan in Russia G. Ilamanov congratulated the youth on the beginning of the new academic year and spoke in detail about the importance of the country's permanent neutrality. The diplomat noted the achievements of Turkmenistan for 34 years of independence and emphasized the importance of the upcoming meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan.

Head of the Astrakhan Turkmen organization F. Kadyrova, teacher of the school named after Makhtumkuli Fraghi R. Shadzhiev and second-year student of the Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev G. Nepesova made reports at the conference.

A special moment of the event was the performance of students of the school named after Makhtumkuli Fraghi, who recited poems of the great Turkmen poet in their native language. At the end of the conference, the Consulate presented letters of appreciation and memorable gifts to students, pupils and teachers of the school of Funtovo village for active participation in the solemn events.
