In order to create a documentary film about Makhtumkuli Fraghi, the film group of the Oguz Khan Turkmenfilm Association under the leadership of director A. Tashliev will go on a business trip to the city of Bukhara in Uzbekistan at the end of November. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The new film will join the series of documentaries about the life and creative path of the Turkmen poet, shot in honor of the 300th anniversary of his birth. Earlier films about the outstanding poet and thinker were shot in Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkey, in places associated with the name and cultural heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The publication of the first work of Makhtumkuli Fraghi called "Divan khezreti Makhtumkuli" in 1910 is connected with the city of Bukhara. The great thinker also received his education here.
We would like to remind that in June this year in Bukhara region of Uzbekistan the conference "World Glory of Makhtumkuli" was held.
