Delegates from the Turkmen Academy of Horse Breeding visited a US university

On May 28, 2024, representatives of the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annaev considered the prospects of establishing ties with the American Asbury University within the framework of a working trip to the United States. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

From the Turkmen side, the meeting was attended by the Head of Turkmenistan's diplomatic mission to the United States M. Orazov, Vice-Rector of the International Academy S. Ataev, horse breeder and trainer A. Bashimov. The American side was represented by the President of the University Kevin Brown, Vice-Rector Sherry Powers, Head of the Horse Breeding Education Program Harold Rainwater, Dr. Vinsa Satliva.

The participants of the meeting considered the possibility of signing a memorandum of cooperation, discussed topical issues of academic exchanges and organization of internships. Representatives of Turkmenistan visited the equestrian center of the university, Kentucky Horse Park, American Saddlebred Museum.
