On October 28, the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia in Turkmenistan was held at the Mukamov Palace. As reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".The event was timed to the 300th anniversary of the great poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi, which was a testimony to the strengthening of bilateral partnership between the countries in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia in Turkmenistan was attended by the employees of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia, representatives of various departments and mass media, cultural and artistic figures, teachers and students of higher educational institutions. At the end of the solemn ceremony, a program of concert events began, including folk songs, dances and pop music.
Let us recall that during his visit to Turkmenistan to participate in the International Forum "The Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis for Peace and Development", the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturian presented President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with a collection of poems of the legendary thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi translated into Armenian.
