An athlete from Turkmenistan Shakhzadbek Matyakubov set a world record at the Doha competitions in weightlifting among boys and juniors. This reports MIC of Turkmenistan.
In the weight category up to 102 kg, Shakhzadbek Matyakubov set a junior world record in the jerk with a weight of 219 kg, and in the deadlift with a total weight of 396 kg. The second place winner was Alireza Nasiri from Iran with a total result of 389 kg. The third place went to the weightlifter from Iran Abolfazl Zare with a total weight of 366 kg.
A weightlifter from Turkmenistan Gulyalek Kakamuradova showed an excellent result in the weight category up to 64 kg, winning the first place in the two-round competition with a total weight of 202 kg in the jerk and snatch.
