President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the inauguration of a new workshop for production of glass products in an industrial complex located in the northern part of Ashgabat. The launch of production became an important stage in the implementation of the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028" and the National Development Program for 2022-2052. The head of Turkmenistan solemnly cut the symbolic ribbon and launched the new enterprise by pressing a special button.
A special feature of the new production is the full use of local raw materials, including quartz sand, limestone, dolomite and other additives. The technological process involves melting of raw materials at a temperature of 1500 degrees Celsius, molding of products by blowing and subsequent cooling in specialized furnaces.
The enterprise is equipped with a modern laboratory with high-tech equipment from the world's leading manufacturers to ensure quality control of products. The plant has received certificates of compliance with international standards from the German company "Horn Glass Industries" and Italian companies "Vetromeccanica Srl" and "Bottero".
Stefan Erwin Meindl, CEO of Horn Glass Industries, and Alessandro Nigro, representative of Vetromeccanica Srl, attended the certificate award ceremony.
The new production facility will create hundreds of jobs for the local population and will meet the needs of the country's food and pharmaceutical industries.
During the event, President Berdimuhamedov announced the upcoming opening of new settlements in Akhal velayat, a settlement and a bridge in Dashoguz velayat, as well as a new park in the capital. The head of "Türkmen aýna önümleri" enterprise was handed the keys to new cars and special equipment.
