Yonju, August 2 - Arzuw.news. Emir Jumaev, a coach of the sports school of Dashoguz province, has successfully passed accreditation and received the UCI Level 2 international certificate following the official course held from July 9 to 24 in the South Korean city of Yongju. This is reported by the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
The UCI Level 2 Coaching Course, organized as part of the Youth Road Race, was attended by participants from eight Asian countries: Cambodia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan and Turkmenistan.
The course program was aimed at developing the professional competencies of coaches working with elite and youth athletes. Participants studied modules on sports physiology, training techniques, race tactics and data analysis, and participated in practical sessions.
The young Turkmen cyclist Daniil Nurliev demonstrated high results at the competition, taking first place in the second mountain stage with a distance of 21 kilometers among 105 participants. For the victory, the athlete received a medal, a cup and a diploma "Best rider" from the Cycling Federation of the Republic of Korea. Nurliev took fifth place in the overall standings after all three stages.
It is worth noting that Turkmenistan initiated the establishment of the UN World Bicycle Day, which is celebrated annually on June 3. Mass bicycle rallies are regularly held in the country, uniting thousands of people and popularizing a healthy lifestyle.
