Turkmen power engineers upgraded their qualifications in Florence

A delegation from Turkmenistan participated in a face-to-face training on renewable energy regulation and integration held at the European University Institute in Florence. The course, organized by the Florence School of Regulation, was held in late September - early October. This is reported by. MIC.

The event, which brought together regulators and experts from different countries, discussed best practices in the integration of RES into energy markets. The Turkmen delegation was represented by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Energy, the State Concern "Turkmengaz" and the State Energy Institute.

The training program included such issues as the world experience of RES management, competitive support mechanisms, investment models and innovative technologies "Power-to-X". This was an opportunity for Turkmen specialists to deepen their knowledge, study modern European methods and establish contacts with foreign colleagues.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, the knowledge gained in Florence, especially in the area of market integration and innovative financing, is crucial for diversifying the country's energy sector and pursuing a forward-looking policy.

The delegation's participation was supported by the "EU for a Green Turkmenistan" project, which demonstrates the country's commitment to the development of international cooperation in the field of RES and adherence to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
