The Turkmen National Conservatory held a concert for the International Music Day

The Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva hosted a festive concert dedicated to the International Music Day. The event, organized by the Chamber Ensemble Department, gathered connoisseurs of musical art, among whom there were many representatives of the older generation. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The program opened with the performance of "Turkmeniň Altyn asyry" award winner Lachin Hudayberdiyeva, who played the folk melody "Balsaýat" on the dutar. During the concert, works of great composers such as Bach, Puccini, Chopin, Ravel, as well as works by Recep Recepov and Khydyr Allanurov were performed.

The concert ended with Chara Nurymov's piece "Toý Aýdymy" performed by all participants of the program. The event demonstrated the high professionalism of musicians and confirmed the role of the Conservatory as an important center of musical culture of Turkmenistan.
