Ambassador of Turkmenistan meets with Head of Afghan Standardization Department

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Afghanistan Khodzhi Ovezov met with the head of the National Standardization Authority of Afghanistan Feizullah Tamim. This is reported by the Centralasia.news online edition.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon the issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The Afghan side noted a significant increase in the volume and quality of goods exported from Turkmenistan. The hope was expressed for a speedy resolution of issues related to the import of goods that do not meet the established standards.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities of importing Turkmen oil and gas to Afghanistan.
The Turkmen side expressed interest in further developing trade and economic ties with Afghanistan.
